Owner Comments:
This
truck is a Frankenstein, the VIN number says '73 1/2 ton, but it has 3/4 or 1
ton axles on it (not sure which), the drive train is 350/TH350/NP203, with a 14
bolt rear end. The fenders are off a '75, because the badges say Silverado
K30. What I have done to it so far, changed the oil, added a new filter,
and battery, and put in a new distributor, cap, rotor, wires, and plugs.
My plans include: fixing all of the leaks (this poor old truck leaks like a
sieve), new brake lines, new e-brake cables (none on it now), new shocks, and
rebuild the steering if needed. Once she starts running good, I have to
adjust the t-case linkage (not a 4x4 right now). Needless to say I have a lot
of work to do, but my overall plan is to get this truck looking sweet with a 3
inch lift, 34 inch tires, roll cage, winch on front and rear, rock slider under
the cab, and so-on.
